我喜欢这首歌的前奏和每段开始的背景和声，都是按照半音阶逐级向下的走向，造成了一种神秘诡异的风格。保罗的唱法也基本上不按正音，在很多字词上都比标准音高略低一点（感觉！）曲调显得慵懒、轻佻，仿佛真的有点调情的味道。

每段的最后一句，比如 say the only words I know that you'll 同样的音高，可唱起来完全没有单调的感觉，反而有非如此不能表达的感觉，真是奇特。

此外那段回旋往返的间奏主题在中间和结尾几度出现，有点交响乐中女性主题的感觉，极其妩媚动听，穿插在歌曲中，为全曲增色不少。
